In Kiev, unknown set on fire cinema during session of the film about LGBT
In Kiev, unknown set on fire cinema “Zhovten” during the session of the film «Summer Nights», which was shown as part of the festival «Youth».
Fire started on October 30 at night. 22 fire engines have participated in the elimination of fire.
Firefighters managed to localize the fire at 01:40 on Thursday (Ukrainian time) and completely extinguish at 02:26.
The fire damaged the roof of the building; also technical rooms inside the cinema were suffered.
As the cinema’s director said, unknown set on fire hall “Hegemon” during the session of the film «Summer Nights» – this film was dedicated to LGBT topics.
There are no injuries during the fire.
